God, You are Faithful!

God is so faithful! I have been thanking God all morning for a answered prayer!!                              I pulled this out of our prayer box  today.
Why would I do that you might ask??  Because this prayer has been answered!!!  Today Derek and Christy are on their way home with  Koby and Si. I am so grateful. I know the family is rejoicing today. I don't know what these boys lives have been like up to now, but I know that now they have a family and that they are LOVED. I just wanted to share this answered prayer and brag about how good God is. I am so excited and cannot wait to see pictures of the family finally complete. Continue to pray for safe travels and for the boys as they adjust to their new life. Thank you to everyone who has helped lift this adoption up in prayer.

Beauty in the Unknown

Wow where is time going?? Seems like it was just Christmas and now here it is the end of February. As I looked at my calender the other day and realized we only have 18 more weeks until we move I went into a mini panic. Thats not enough!!!!! I need more time!!!! I was reminded by the Lord that  He keeps ALL His promises.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness.” I shall therefore joyfully boast in my sufferings, that the power of The Messiah may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”Deuteronomy 31:6

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

I am clinging to His promises because thats all thats getting me through. I have no idea what we will be doing Ministry wise back home, or how we will make it money wise. There are so many unknowns and not many answers. Yes, there is beauty in the unknown. There is also fear and anxiety. There is also excitement and anxiousness. The truth is I'm a whirlwind of emotions, but what I know is this is Gods will and so I know that it is for our good. No matter how much it hurts, no matter how many tears we cry. We have to keep believing that this is for our good. We have to trust God and to never forget that there is beauty in the unknown.

Psalm 145:9 “The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Where do We live??

I'm so glad you asked. when God called us to Hungry Horse, Montana We had no idea where we would live or how we would pay for a place to live. God ALWAYS provides. Just so happens Canyon Baptist Church has a apartment attached to the church. They allow us to live in the apartment free of charge!! God is so good!!!

Thia is Canyon Baptist Church!! Where you see the car parked is the apartment end. :)
Front door of apartment!
This is your view when you walk in the front door.

Up the stairs and threw the door and you are in the church kitchen.
This is a view from the other end of the hallway. You are looking at the front door.
This is our living room its right off of the hallway.

This door here goes to our bedroom.

Off of the dining room is the kitchen.

Then is the bathroom.

Off of the bathroom is another room. We use it just for storage.

Right now its full of boxes we are saving for our move.

This room is also where we keep our coats.
The back door is in this room. This is a view out the backdoor into the fenced in yard!

That room is attached to this room ( the purple room) Which We have as our work out room.

This is another room. That we have set up as a guest bedroom.
We are so blessed and thankful for this apartment.

Counting my blessings instead of complaining!

This morning  when I woke up and looked out the front window this is what I saw
You might not can tell by this picture, but its still coming down too. Its absolutely beautiful, but my first thought was to complain. However, I did not give in instead as I looked out the window I said to Jeremy we are so blessed to have a warm place to live.
Apartment

Oh but its just so yucky to have to drive in. Right after this thought look what came down the road.
So instead of complaining I said Thank You Lord for plow trucks.
Still though its so gross to have to walk in.
How could I forget I got brand new boots just two days ago for my birthday.

The point I am trying to make is instead of complaining count your blessings. Every complaint I had this morning God within seconds showed me a blessing and a reason to be thankful. We ( me included) are missing so many blessings each day because we are too busy complaining. I am gonna try to do better starting right now. I am going to count a few of my blessings just since being in Montana,

Thank you Lord for calling Jeremy and I to one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thanks you that we have been lucky in the two winters we have been here to have only had mild winters.
Thank you for all the ministries we have been blessed to be apart of here. Thank you for all the people we have met and can now call friends that we otherwise would have never met.

Wow Week Crew 2012
Thank you for this School and for the opportunity to minister to all the children who come each week.
I can't actually put a picture of them, but Thank You for the 3 and under class and each child who is in that class.
Thank you for Diane who is the teacher of this class now. Bless Her in a special way for her willingness to serve.
Thank you for the puppet ministry and for everyone who helps with it.

Thank you for all our friends in Montana. We have made so many and we are so blessed and thankful for them.

Thank you for this beautiful baby. She means so much to Jeremy and I and We are so thankful that We have been able to be apart of her life. We have been blessed to see her go from this little baby.

To this hilarious toddler. She gives us so many reasons to smile and is always making us laugh.
Thank you Lord for Canyon Baptist Church. Without it and its need for a music ministry we would have never came to Hungry Horse, Montana , and we wouldnt have  experienced any of these other blessings.

Thank you Lord for all these blessings and many many more that I didnt name. Help us to count our blessings instead of complaining.
God is so good!!!
