Winter Wonderland 2/12/2014

              So today the snow begin to fall and it was so beautiful.  I have always loved snow, but after living in Montana my love for it went though the roof. I LOVE snow!!!!! When it snows I feel so much closer to those I love in Montana. As the flakes softly fall and pile up on the ground I go back to all the good times and memories and I can literally feel the love.

     So this afternoon I was so excited that the ground was pretty and white, but when I opened the door tonight and saw the ground covered and more falling I was completely overjoyed.

   I think its no coincidence that we have had so much more snow this year in Tn. I believe that God blesses those who love Him and I believe all this snow is a blessing He has been sending me. I am so thankful for each tiny flake because it has filled my heart with love and my mind with happy memories.

Our God is BIG!

         So this week has been crazy, but I see how BIG our God is just on some events that happened this week.
           Lets back track last friday is when I dropped the bomb shell on Jacobs Mommy Jennifer about me feeling led to move  into other avenues. I had prayed and prayed. Then I felt like I HAD to go to church with my Mom one wednesday night. When I got there the sermon was about being obedient. So that was my finally confirmation I had prayed so desperately for. So on friday I prayed and asked God if today was the day He wanted me to talk to Jennifer. I asked Him to  please send me a sign and an  give me a opportunity and let me know for sure. That afternoon when Jennifer came to get Jacob I still had no idea. Jacob was asleep and since He hadnt been asleep long Jennifer sat down in our recliner and in that moment I felt God whisper its time. I know it sounds crazy, but I know He once again worked it all out. Our God is BIG!

     Then this week I get a text from Amanda (Alania and Emmys Mom) asking me if I can keep Emmy tuesday and thursday. So of course I said I could. Then on tuesday the snow came and of course School was out. Back track in case you arent keeping up with me I kept the girls when I first moved home. So on friday the snow had mostly melted, but some was still hanging around on a few roads. So school was out again which meant I didnt keep Jacob, but I had Alaina as well as Emmy. So before I move on in my next journey I got to spend another day just me and the girls. Which without the snow would have never happened. Our God is BIG!

      Also something I prayed and prayed about was the girls and Nala. They are both afraid of dogs and when I keep them years ago I actually had to keep my dog somewhere else. I prayed that everything would go good and they wouldnt be afraid. Emmy was scared at first, but warmed up fast. Emmy kept telling me Alaina is afraid of dogs and it takes her alot longer than me. However both girls spent friday playing with Nala ALL day long!!! Our God is BIG!
     The fellowship Church is moving into a new building that we will have access to whenever we want. It may not meet our  permanent needs, but we are thankful that God provided us with it just when we needed it most. Our God is BIG!

        These are all things just this week that have happened that truly reminded me how BIG our God is. He is amazing and although His ways arent our ways He is always seeing us through our tough situations. He works all things out for our good. He is so much bigger than our problem and our circumstance. Our God is BIG!

Transition, Excitement, and How you can help!

           Im sure some of you maybe wondering whats going on with us ministry wise since the move to Tennessee.  Well things are great!!! We are involved with a new church plant in Sweetwater, TN.
              The pastor of the Fellowship Church is Derek McCosh. Does his name sound familiar? If it does thats because He was our pastor years ago at Oak Grove and I have wrote a few times about His families adoption of their two youngest boys. We are thrilled that God has brought us back to work with this sweet family.  Jeremy is Associate Pastor of Worship and Ministry, and I am a active part of the praise team. ( I play tambourine.) You can read all about The Fellowship Church on our website just click here.
            God has been providing for the Fellowship Church all along and this sunday we get to see one of the HUGE ways He has provided for us as we meet for our first worship service in our new building.
     We are thrilled to have our own place, but we are also very thankful to Brown Intermediate School for allowing us to rent there auditorium, Where we have been meeting for almost six months now.However, thats one reason its so exciting to have our own building because we have access to it everyday. Please pray for our transition. Also if you or your church feel led to help here are a few things we still need.

*Folding chairs, couches, chairs etc.
*Folding tables
*A Projector Screen
*Cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner
*Keurig coffee maker
*General office supplies

I'm sure there will be more, so stay tuned. We have emptied our accounts to get into this building, so If any of you can contribute to our ministry, we'd be grateful. You may mail a check to The Fellowship Church, PO Box 679, Sweetwater, TN 37874.

If you have any questions or would like to help in any other way, please give one of us a call.

Also, if we can serve you or your church, we would consider it an honor. Currently, Pastor Derek is available to preach or teach or share about TFC on most Sunday evenings or any evening through the week, so please keep us in mind.

We are attempting to reach the outcasts and unloved in our community. Please pray that God would use us mightily to carry out His work in His way for His glory.

 God is good!!!! Have a blessed Thursday!!!

Snow!!!!!!!!!

Wow I had no idea it was suppose to snow today!!! What a surprise when I looked out and the ground was white. Of course School was let out so the kiddos got picked up early. So a relaxing afternoon in my pjs watching it snow is in store for me. So thankful for times like these.

Our yard ( inside the fence)

Yes I just may have been taking pictures through the screen door lol
Someone was unsure about the snow at first, but then she realized its yummy to eat!
 Anyone who knows Nala knows she is all about two things: Eating and digging. She has been going out as often as she can trick me and act like she has to in order to do both.
  She fits in so well with Jeremy and I because we LOVE snow!!!!!

Stay warm and safe Ya'll!!!

A season of Change. . . . . .

          To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
 A time to be born,
    And a time to die;
A time to plant,
    And a time to pluck what is planted;
 A time to kill,
    And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
    And a time to build up;
 A time to weep,
    And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
    And a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones,

    And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
    And a time to refrain from embracing;
 A time to gain,
    And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
    And a time to throw away;
 A time to tear,
    And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
    And a time to speak;

A time to love,

    And a time to hate;
A time of war,
    And a time of peace.

                Change is hard and I mean HARD!!! Although I didnt realize it or comprehend God has been working on a season of change for me and in me. I didnt want a change, but God said its time. I didnt think I needed a change, but God said I do. I'm not thrilled about this change, but God said Its ok I am your provider and your Prince of peace and I will see you through. That does not mean it wont be hard or that I wont struggle. I will and I am. I dont have all the answers and that drives me crazy, but God is whispering to me "Be still and know that I am God."
         As I am now In Numbers (on my journey through the Bible) I see how God took care of the Israelites when He brought them out of Egypt. I see how He had a plan and although hard at times and maybe not the way they had planned or wanted,  in the end God saw them through. I have to believe He will do the same for me. Not my way and not my plan actually not even the way I wanted, but The same faithful God who is working all things out for my good.
 Sometimes We just cant understand. . . . . . . . . .
First day keeping Jacob!!!
    But Gods ways are not our ways and sometimes we have to take a step of faith and trust Him to lead the rest of the way. I am not sure what He has next for me, but I am clinging to Him and trusting Him to show me the way.

           It saddens me that soon I may not  be hanging out with this cutie everyday

  But God has called me into a new season and as hard as it is I have to be obedient.

            I am currently looking for employment and I know God will work everything out for His Purpose and His Glory.  Please pray for this sweetie and his family and also for me as I step out into a new journey God has for me.

My growing girl!!

           When we adopted Nala she weighed 3 pounds.  This picture was taken right inside the animal shelter right after we finished all the paperwork that officially made her ours!!

We brought her home a few days later after she was spayed and she was a firecracker from day one. She LOVED to play.

    She was so much fun and we adored our tiny furball.
How did this

become this so fast?

   Its as though overnight She grew from that tiny furball into a dog!!!! Well yes shes still a puppy, but at the vet today my 3 pound puppy actually weighed 7 pounds!!! What?! I came straight home and went  back through pictures and sure enough my girl has grew ALOT!!! Here are some pictures to compare just how much she has changed in the 7 weeks she has been home.

Adoption day!

Whats going on with the Malones? Well im glad you asked.

Well hello there!!! We have internet back at our house now so I will try to keep this more updated.
           Things are going great!!! It took me 6 months  to feel normal again  and finally accept that im here (in TN) and its ok if I dont fully know my purpose and what im suppose to be doing. I have prayed and prayed and each time get the same answer Relax and keep doing what your doing. I think God is giving me that rest I desperately prayed for about a year ago. Hey His timing is perfect , right?
             Things are going well with The Fellowship Church. God is really moving and we are so excited to be having a baptism this sunday!!! Jeremy is  associate pastor of worship and ministry. I play the tambourine with the praise team. We are excited about what God has planned for Tfc and are glad that He saw fit to let us be a part of it.
            I am still babysitting and Jeremy works at US cellular (call center) in Knoxville. Nala is growing like crazy and besides a accident here and there she is  house trained ( although thats the first time i have said it outloud).
    I am working on reading my Bible (all the way through) and so far am in the middle of Exodus and already have pages full of notes and questions. I cannot even fathom all I have learned already. I encourage everyone to pick up their bible and read it daily and also pray often! More than once or twice a day if you can. I am amazed at the change in my life since I have started doing both.

           Ok so theres a quick update to make sure your still with me and know whats going on with the Malones :)

This is beautifully written and oh so true!

Happy and Content :)

                 Normally I have a big news years post about my resolutions and plans for this year, but not this year. For some reason I just dont have much to say lately.  I'm not sad, or depressed I'm very happy just quiet I guess. I havent been in much of a writing mood but that doesnt mean great things arent happening.
             Jeremy and I are doing well. We are adjusting to him working the evening shift, and Nala has been awesome company for me. I have no idea how I would have made it without her. We are happy and content. :)

Its hard to believe that this little lady has only been around one month. She is doing great. She has gained 2 pounds weighing a whooping 5 pounds! Her vet said and I quote "She looks perfectly healthy". Which was a relief. Cant wait until the end of January when her puppy shots are complete and I cant take my girl out and show her off.
     I took one of my old toe socks that I never wear and made Nala a outfit. She wasnt crazy about the hat, but she did wear it long enough for a picture.

I got my hair cut and I love it!!!!
So theres a update short and sweet. Not much to tell still trucking along and living for Jesus.
Every day is not a good day, but there is something good in everyday!
